| About The Art |

| This is my first year to become so highly involved with the Big Brother television series. I have watched the other seasons but this year I really seemed to identify with some of the house guests. As I started watching the series, I quickly learned of a website where you could go for updated information on what is happening in the house even before the episode airs. That site is 'Big Brother 6' Live Feed Reports and More.' Jackie the blog host is awesome and she is very careful to report factual information even above some of the larger blog sites. This site only intensified my interest in the series. While watching the show I really started to identify with Kayser and the way he was being treated by the others in the house. My creative energy started to flow and the first artwork was composed. I felt so much relief after that expression that I was compelled to create more. I submitted the work to Jackie and she published it on her site. I was thrilled! The work has given me much satisfaction with expression and resolution. This has generated new compositions that are being formed currently. Much of the work was done on older design software that I am in the process of updating now. The Morph's have really caught the attention of the blog readers and I am pleased with those expressions as well. I have no direct affiliation to CBS or its affiliates, and I do not have any control over the outcome of the programs. I feel passionate about the fact that these are games. The work is an expression of my involvement in the games. This is entertainment, the purpose is to provide satisfaction to us. The work is not intended to propagate hate, violence or intolerance in any way, rather its intention is to broaden the minds of those with more narrow understandings by challenging them. Remember as in any competition we have winners and losers, and the joy comes in the playing and competing and not always just in winning. -Thomas |
